All my life I’ve listened
To fools and their fables
They shared across tables
Bout how love conquers all
The struggle, the strife
The emptiness of Life
Can all be broken
When two hearts become one
Or so they’ve said
All my life I’ve listened
To mother and father
Who told me why bother
Working on yourself
Find a wife or a husband
Whichever you catch first
Unless you wanna be in a hearse
That drives you to your grave
Alone
Oh but no, what worked for them
Doesn’t work for me
Don’t need no shackles ‘round my heart! Yeah, what they might need
Hey, I’m better off without
I’m beautiful and strong
On my own!
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, not anymore
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, no I don’t
All I need’s myself
Not anybody else
I don’t need love, not anymore
If lovers lie with broken hearts
Then I don’t want any parts
I don’t need Love. No, I don’t!
All your life, you’ve been fishing
In the great lake of Love
Looking to land a big one
Only to throw it back
And yes the struggle, the strife
Make the journey of Life
All worthwhile
Till you finally get your catch
Or so they’ve said
But I have seen it, oh too many times
Guys with big shoes to fill
Finally win that girl and still
She’s walking out the door
‘Cause of fear, insecurity
Wondering what more she could be
As if Love was the very thing
Defining her in this world
But we know better
Oh but no, what worked for them
Doesn’t work for us
We don’t need no shackles ‘round our hearts!
Yeah, what they might need
Hey, we’re stronger without
We’re beautiful and powerful
On our own!
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, not anymore
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, no I don’t
All I need’s myself
Not anybody else
I don’t need love, not anymore
If lovers lie with broken hearts
Then I don’t want any parts
I don’t need Love. No, I don’t!
I don't need love, no, I don't need love!
No I don't need love! C'mon!
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, not anymore
No! I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love
I don’t need Love, no I don’t
All I need’s myself
Not anybody else
I don’t need love, not anymore
If lovers lie with broken hearts
Then I don’t want any parts
I don’t need Love. No, I don’t!

I'd listened to this album years before attending my first furcon and I feel that the mood it sets is the closest thing to actually being there. It beautifully captures the soul of the furry fandom. dimpert

This whole album is amazing and It's very hard for me to pick a favourite because it keeps changing but every song on this album absolutely go's off. All of Pepper Coyote's (Including his early work in Look Left) and Fox Amoore's songs are definitely worth listening to. anguspmc

Very cute, and very true-to-life! The arrangement is extremely well-done on every track, it is hard to believe that this did not come from some large production company. I bought the LP, and I must admit that I am slightly disappointed with the sound quality. It was clearly cut from a compressed digital source. There are some artifacts present at softer passages that should otherwise be bone-jarringly smooth on high-fidelity LPs. lord_of_foxes
